"Teachers make a difference in student learning, and materials with effective learning strategies can support their impact"
If you give concrete and contextualize materials to your students, you will facilitate the adquisition of knowledge to them. Through a well organized materials, students will obtain a different view of the topics they are going to work with and it is going to be easier to accomplish the objectives that will be evaluated.
In order to have a positive environment it is also necessary for teachers to have defined motivational strategies and positive expectations. As much as positive the environment is, more students will feel free to express and participate during the lessons making a class more dinamic and creative just only by the way they are treated by the teacher.
There are many characterict that must be follow for a teacher: present positive expectations, give feedback, friendly, attentive and encouraging communication. Don't be so strict and remember that your students besides that, are human beings.
